Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately, the rainy weather has put a damper on our workout yet again. Although I have to cancel tomorrow’s class, I look forward to seeing you and a friend next SUNDAY, October 25th at 10 am!
Enjoy your weekend,
Danny

What a morning! Once again, rain threatened to push the class later in the day, but luckily it held out until the workout was well under way. We had an AMAZING group this week. Heather spread the word after last weeks class and showed up today with all of her friends in tow. Scott, Keri, Daniel, Allison and Pauline made their debut at the class and kicked butt the whole way through. Our trainer, Danny, had to make a few modifications midway throught the workout to account for the rain. But in typical Danny fashion, he incorporated the slick ground in some of the single leg exericses which really increased the difficulty. The “finisher” circuit this week consisted of an 8 minute non-stop round of total body strength and conditioning work. We all pulled together and made it though. After a set like that, you feel great for the rest of the day.
For those of you that missed this weeks class, we hope to see you next Saturday at 10am. The temperature has been perfect and the park is as beautiful as ever. So get out of the gym and into the park next Saturday at 10am! We hope to see you there.

I woke up this morning and thought the class was off because our oh-so reliable weathermen said rain all morning. But, once again they were WRONG. I jumped out of bed, grabbed a quick breakfast and gathered my gear. It looked like the sky was going to open up and drench the city on my way up 6th ave toward the park. But, the rain Gods held out until Danny was through working his magic.
We had a new member this week, Rachel, who did a fantastic job. She worked hard like the rest of the group and made it through. Danny broke out a few new agility circuits using the ladder and cones, which got everyone moving at the beginning of class. He also added a new “Finisher Circuit” as the class finale which allowed us to work at our own pace and test our limits at the same time. It was tough but also a great way to finish the class.
If you’ve never worked out in Cental Park before, you need to try it; think of it as one of those New York experiences you can’t get anywhere else. Remember, we are NOT a Boot Camp. We like to think of ourselves as the Anti-Boot Camp. We leave the yelling, lack of form and work till you puke vibe to other classes. The Fit For Fall Anti-Boot Camp is a class for all levels that’s built on the science behind training. We’re here to build you up, not break you down. What we do and how we do it ALWAYS matters.
Check out the pictures below and get ready for the next class next Saturday, October 10th at 10am!
